Diabetes Account Specialist - Derbyshire, Stoke & Stafford

The Diabetes Account Specialist is a promotional role accountable for the commercial performance and positioning of NN diabetes medicines through securing sales within a geographical territory.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive depth and breadth of prescribing with specialist and primary care clinicians of promoted brands within the Diabetes portfolio
  • Develop brand advocates across both specialist and primary care environments
  • Seen as a portfolio expert, with robust clinical and local knowledge that develops clinical confidence to initiate and manage patients on NN Diabetes products
  • Executes an omnichannel approach through use of branded visuals and digital aids in both face to face and remote interactions
  • Drives optimum frequency of engagements between the customer and NN by understanding the customers' needs and content availability through an omnichannel approach
  • Responsible to build and manage account plans at a secondary/primary care level

Experience required:

  • ABPI qualified with a robust understanding of the NHS and strong desire to improve patient care and Local Health Economy outcomes
  • Key Account Management and business planning skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Exceptional commercial acumen and selling skills
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent communication, with the ability to develop productive partnerships at all levels, internally and externally
  • Confident use of all communication channels to drive efficiencies, share insights and improve customer experience
  • Strong desire to improve patient care
